Using Loco Translate

The easiest way to translate your theme is by using the Loco Translate plugin.

  1. Go to Plugins > Add New.
  2. Search for the plugin Loco Translate.
  3. Install and activate the plugin.

Translate Savior Theme

  1. Navigate to Loco Translate > Themes and select Savior in the theme list to start translating.
  2. Click on the New Language link to add a new translation for Savior.
  3. Select the language.
  4. Choose the location to store your translation files in the languages/themes folder.
  5. Click the Start Translating button to start translating the Savior theme.
  6. On the next screen, all the English text strings inside the theme will be listed. Select a text string from the Source Text list and then add your translation for it in the textarea below.
  7. Click the Save button at the top, and all your translated text should appear on your website instead of the default English text.

Translate Plugins

The translation process for plugins is the same as translating a theme:

  1. Navigate to Loco Translate > Plugins and select the plugin you want to translate from the plugins list to start translating.
  2. Click on the New Language link to add a new translation for it.
  3. Select the language.
  4. Choose the location to store your translation files in the languages/plugins folder.
  5. Click the Start Translating button to start translating the selected plugin.
  6. On the next screen, all the English text strings inside the plugin will be listed. Select a text string from the Source Text list and then add your translation for it in the textarea below.
  7. Then click the Save button at the top, and all your translated text should appear on your website instead of the default English text.
