Maintenance

This section contains options to turn your site into maintenance mode. It allows you to display a user-friendly notice to your users instead of a broken site during maintenance. When you are logged in as an administrator, you can visit your website normally.

To turn maintenance mode on or off on your site, select the suitable mode for your site. There are two options for you to choose from: Maintenance or Coming Soon.

1. Maintenance: Select this mode if you need to work on building or fixing your site for a long period of time. It returns HTTP 503 to browsers and bots.
2. Coming Soon: Select this mode if you just need to close your website to visitors for a short period of time. It returns HTTP 200 to browsers and bots.

This option helps your site remain friendly to search bots and does not affect your SEO ranking. You can learn more about these status codes here.

Maintenance Page: Select the page you designed to display as your maintenance page.
