Update Plugins

Every time we update the Savior theme, we ensure that it includes the latest versions of the included plugins. This helps to maintain compatibility and security, providing users with updated features and enhancements alongside the theme update. Here’s a guide on how to update plugins after updating the Savior theme:

  1. Navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins in your WordPress admin dashboard to view the list of updated plugins.
  2. If you have translated any plugins and the language files are located in plugins/your-plugin-name/languages/, make sure to backup these files. Then upload them to wp-content/languages/plugins/. This step ensures that after updating the plugins, any translated language files are preserved.
  3. Click on the update link next to each plugin to update them. This process will not delete your content such as pages, options, images, and posts. However, any customizations made to the plugin’s core files, such as PHP files, will be lost during the update.

Following these steps will help you keep your plugins up to date while ensuring that any translations and content remain intact.
