Install Plugins

After installing the Savior theme, you’ll see a notification at the top of the page indicating that the theme needs some plugins to function properly.

Required Plugins

Required plugins are essential and must be installed and activated at all times for Savior to work properly. The Savior theme requires the following plugins:

  • Sage Core: A collection of extra elements for Sagetheme premium themes.

Recommended plugins are those we use in our demos and are fully integrated with Savior. You can choose not to install these plugins if you’re not going to use them. The Savior theme recommends the following plugins:

  • Give – Donation Plugin: The most robust, flexible, and intuitive way to accept donations on WordPress.
  • The Events Calendar: The Events Calendar is a carefully crafted, extensible plugin that lets you easily share your events. Beautiful. Solid. Awesome.
  • Contact Form 7: A plugin for creating contact forms. It is free and available on WordPress.org.
  • MailChimp for WordPress: Helps you add more subscribers to your MailChimp lists using various methods.
  • WPML – Multilingual Plugin: The WordPress Multilingual Plugin. WPML makes it easy to build and manage multilingual sites.
  • Revolution Slider: An all-purpose slide display solution that allows for showing almost any kind of content with highly customizable transitions, effects, and custom animations. Due to its visual-oriented interface and countless options, Slider Revolution is suited for beginners and pros alike.
  • Woocommerce: A powerful, extendable eCommerce plugin that helps you sell anything.
  • WooCommerce Currency Switcher: A plugin that allows your site customers/visitors to switch currencies on your WooCommerce store and get their rates converted in real time.
  • YITH WooCommerce Wishlist: A plugin that adds wishlist features to your website. This plugin requires WooCommerce to be installed to work.

Savior works seamlessly with these plugins. It automatically applies additional styles to ensure the design matches the theme.

How to Install

  1. From the WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins. Here, you’ll find the required and recommended plugins for Savior.
  2. Click on Install below each plugin’s name.
  3. After installing, if it is necessary to activate the plugin, simply click on the Activate button.

Troubleshooting

  1. Failed to install/activate some plugins.
    Sometimes, the download process may fail on certain hostings, resulting in incomplete files that cannot be activated. If this happens, please navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins and delete those plugins. Then, reinstall them.
